Description
Now offered by Vail’s Classic Cars is this rare and beautifully restored 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible.
Finished in factory Diamond Blue with a white power convertible top and blue two-tone vinyl interior, this Mustang is one of only 961 produced in this highly desirable factory color. Originally delivered to Timblin Murdoch in Sharon, Pennsylvania, it retains a unique place in Mustang history.
Under the hood is a 289 V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. It is also equipped with power steering, Wilwood front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes, making it an excellent-driving classic.
The interior presents exceptionally well with virtually all-new upholstery, brand new gauges, and a 14-inch woodgrain steering wheel. The Diamond Blue paint has a deep shine and the body panels fit nicely throughout.
Structurally, this Mustang is outstanding. The car is completely rust-free, with a very solid body and an exceptionally clean, detailed underside.
This is a rare color-combination Mustang Convertible that has been restored to a high standard and is ready to be enjoyed.
